THE PREFACE
My copy of author Bill O’Reilly’s book KILLING JESUS arrived today. After reading just one page I’m confident my predictions about this book will ring true. How can I be so sure after reading just the first two paragraphs you ask?
O’Reilly in true Catholic and ecumenical fashion attacks the Bible’s account of the life of Jesus Christ in the preface of his book, “KILLING JESUS”. The reader finds in paragraph two on page one that O’Reilly does not believe the Gospels account of Jesus’ life. He says the following, “Of course we have the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, but they sometimes appear contradictory and were written from a spiritual point of view rather than as a historical chronicling of Jesus life.” To this statement EZEKIEL3 says “phooy” and the words of God say “…he that believeth not God hath made him a liar: because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.” 1John 5:10 …let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written… Rom. 3:4 Now Mr. O’Reilly, WHAT SAY YOU?
CHAPTER ONE
The Roman Catholic Popes and priests are no authority on the Bible or Jesus Christ and Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard following in their footsteps are equally oblivious to the truths found in the Scriptures.
Case in point. Page seven, the very first sentence of O’reilly and Dugard’s book is a flat-out lie. Read it yourself fresh from the pages of this blasphemous book about our Lord and Saviour, “THE CHILD WITH THIRTY-SIX YEARS TO LIVE IS BEING hunted. WRONG! WRONG!! and still WRONG!!!! If these two money-grubbing screwball heretics can’t be trusted to get the first sentence of this book right, what can we trust them to get right? NOTHING! Remember never has a practicing Roman Catholic priest or practicing Roman Catholic ever told the truth about Jesus Christ or told anyone how to be saved. Bill O’Reilly says that Jesus lived on this earth thirty-six years. The truth is he lived on the earth as the God-man for thirty-three and one half years.
At his baptism the words of God record, “And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the Son of Joseph,… Luke 3:23
The facts concerning Jesus’ ministry and life can be traced through the Scriptures for the next three and one half years, ending in his crucifixion.
Bill O’Reilly used the Roman Catholic approved NIV bible to research his book and followed its example by causing confusion and doubts in the small print note section at the bottom of the pages. Notes at the bottom of page 8 try to confuse the reader about the city Jesus was born in. All of this confusion can be cleared up in the Gospel of Luke chapter two verses five and six. And they said unto him, in Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda,… Nothing like an AV1611 Holy Bible to clear up Roman Catholic tradition and lies, eh?
CHAPTER TWO
Chapter two is a lot about nothing as far as the life of Jesus is concerned. This chapter is about the life and death of Julius Caesar. Good read but as far as truthful, let history be the judge.
CHAPTER THREE
Where’s the beef?, just more about Rome. Then I remind myself this book is being written by a Roman; Catholic that is. Lets read the next chapter to see if we can find something, anything about the subject of the title.
CHAPTER FOUR
O’Reilly again doesn’t get past the first sentence of the fourth chapter till he steps in error concerning the Lord Jesus Christ again. Now he has Jesus’ death at about thirty-five years versus the Biblical account of thirty-three and one half years. Like I said before we cannot take a Roman Catholic’s word on anything concerning the Saviour and the Gospel. One must ask what is the motive for blundering Bill to confound the age of Jesus Christ at his death?
CHAPTER FIVE
The claws of the Vatican come out plainly in this chapter’s footnotes on page 79. The centuries old myth about Mary the mother of Jesus being a perpetual virgin is in the footnotes of page 79. The Catholic bible inserts cousins for brothers and ignores the fact that Jesus had sisters also from his mother according to the Scriptures (AV1611 of course) and some modern perversions of the Bible agree with this Catholic heresy. O’Reilly says The Church (meaning the Roman Catholic church and in his opinion the only true church) considers the siblings mentioned in the Gospels to be Jesus cousins. To this damnable nonsense EZEKIEL3 says, “hogwash”. Never forget if the Holy Ghost had meant the Scriptures wherein we think we have eternal life to say something else, He would have said something else in the Scriptures (AV1611 only of course).
CHAPTER SIX
Friends, I have to be honest, it does not require a close read to correct O’Reilly’s blasphemous tale. This chapter is another attack on the word of God which Blasphemous Bill like any good Catholic does not hesitate to attack. While going on about the Holy Spirit lighting on Jesus in the form of a dove at is baptism he says, “The Gospels are a combination of oral tradition, written fragments from the life of Christ, and the testimony of eyewitnesses. This would explain the discrepancy. The Bible differs with Bill’s opinion and says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Tim. 3:16 The fore-going statement is status quo for Bill, all the Popes, priests, and practicing Roman Catholics. They simply do not believe any bible and have special disdain for the AV1611 Holy Bible. Just to prove my point, did any one notice what bible Bill used when writing this hard cover rag? The NIV of course. The NIV is the official Roman Catholic approved Protestant perversion of the Scriptures.
CHAPTERS SEVEN AND EIGHT
Aaaahhhh!!! He did it again. Read it for yourself in the footnotes on page 126, Before being written down, the Gospels were oral histories. This might explain some discrepancies among them Attack after attack on the words of God is all this book of O’Reilly’s is really about. I must stop for now and come back later after taking a praise break! And I will be back Lord willing and I live, and if I don’t have an old-fashioned Book of Acts style book burning!

I may have to burn this book before I’m finished reading and reporting on it because it is boring.

THE REST OF THE BOOK
This poorly researched and written book adds to and departs from the Bible so much that it is a hard read for the born again Bible believer. This blasphemous book continues the ancient Roman lie that Jesus died on Friday and rose again on Sunday. If you can get three days and three nights in the grave with that hurried schedule I’ll eat mackerel every Friday till Jesus come back to rapture his church. I must close with these last thoughts. This book has more lies and departures from the truth than I have time to shake a blog at. The perfect and only accurate book we have available on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is the AV1611 Holy Bible. Excuse me while I read the real story in my AV1611.

I have already seen ancient Hebrew and Greek text, so I can tell you that I can not. As I my pastor once was able to sit down with me and go over the Greek I do have an extremely limited understanding of basic Greek sentence structure.
But as they say, “It’s all Greek to me”.
I owe you an apology brother, I have been treating you wrongly in my responses. I doesn’t matter if you were belittling me, judging me, or mocking me. I should never have treated you with anything less than compassion. We are called to live by a higher standard by our Lord.

Do you not understand that old Hebrew *dosent* use the same alphabet as English?
So no my name in old Hebrew wouldn’t be spelled C-L-I-N-T, as those letters do not exist in Hebrew. Which is why you must *phonetically* spell the old Hebrew names when using the English alphabet. They tried and failed when they first translated Our Lord name as “Jesus”. I do not think our Lord holds it against, but Anyone Talking about the translations *should* be aware of this. As it shows one of the many difficultys involved in translating a work from on Alphebet to another. To be unaware of this simply shows pure ignorance of the entire subject

Christos is the Greek, people got lazy and dropped the “os” making it Christ. Now there is debate on how to phenecitly spell the true Hebrew name of our Lord in English. I and some others feel more inclined to go with Yahshua, but still others believe Yeshua is more accurate. Anyone who even halfway researched this knows it’s not Jesus, as that was a completely botched translation.

Meaning a word for word translation *literaly* can not be done. As it would be impossible to understand. Which is why in a translation of any language to another a balance between meaning and literal words take place.
You can’t seriously think that the KJ is an *exact* *word for word translation* of the anceint text? If you do stop this pushing of a good, but certainly not perfect translation, and figure out exactly what you are talking about. Before you lead more people down this factually incorrect road.
Actually yes an old pastor of mine could read the old Greek. Though the original Hebrew is a mystery to me. That is why I look to Elder brothers that do understand the acient *true laguages* of the bible and continue to strive to bring us closer to a literal word for word translation.

Well then please tell me what you mean, as I currently own KJ and ESV and am looking for a NASB (can’t find them anywhere anymore) to round out my Bible study collection. As NO translation can be a one hundred percent accurate translation. Just because one has been around for a long time DOES NOT make it a 100 percent *literal* translation. If that is what you seek you must learn the old Hebrew and Greek languages. As a completly word for word translation is plain gibberish in the English language. Before you say it, no the KJ is not a word for word translation, and actually many liberties were taken in that old translation.
Now I understand your being wary of any translation coming out of these times, but that doesn’t excuse this site *blatently* lying about the ESV. Every single verse that this site said was “removed” from the ESV was right where they were suppose to be in my ESV. If there was a legitimate point to what this site was saying why would y’all need to lie to make it? Our God is truth, the god of the air, the prince of this world, is the one that must lie to get his way. As deception is the enemy’s nature, I’ll always distrust the dishonest.
I search for the best *literal* translations as I can not read the original Hebrew or Greek. The King James is good in this regard, but so is the English standard version (although the two unstated revisions do worry me). While the NASB is actually the best for *literal* translation as far as My research and many bible scholars research shows. I will look into this AV1611 Holy Bible you speak of, but know that I probably will not switch to it as I became aware of it by people who have proven to use dishonesty to push their own agenda.

I have read you “review” of the ESV on this sight. It has lead me to one of two conclusions. You are speaking out of ignorance, or are blatantly lying. You say verses are removed that are not. I looked up all the scripture that was said to have been taken out, because I was fearful I had been duped. They all remain, every single one you said were removed are infact still there.
Either y’all are lying with some hidden agenda, or you speak judgment out of ignorance. Either way I can no longer accept anything this sight says as truth. With so many blatant untruths declared as fact.
I had an uneasy feeling about this sight after seeing how quick you were to judge all Catholics, and now I see why the Lord made me cautious. I am currently studying from the ESV translation as it is one of the most literal translations of the original. I am interested in your thoughts on the ESV translation. Also is the translation you propose a more accurate literal translation?
As far as Mr. O’reilly I agree that he is in fact blasphemous, his disregard of our Fathers holy word pains my heart and turns my stomach, but be careful of your judgment you throw at the Catholics brother. They are our mislead brother and sisters. Meaning compassion and restraint are called for if we hope to save them from the falsehoods of those who would take advantage.
