JESUS – The Only Way To Heaven

You may ask, “Why do I need to be saved?  Because God is holy and no sin will ever enter His presence, for righteousness and judgement are the habitation of His throne (Psalm 97:2).  Man is sinful according to God’s word, the AV1611 Bible says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  Your sin has separated you from God.  Scripture says …your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you (Isaiah 59:2).  It is impossible for a man to save himself. By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight (Romans 3:20).  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith of Jesus Christ, even when we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.(Galatians 2:16).

We’ve established as fact by God’s word that you need to be saved from the consequences of your sin, which is hell,  and you cannot save yourself, now the next questions should be, can you be saved.  Yes.  But don’t take just my word for it, lets look at what saith the scripture. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son [Jesus] to be the propitiation for our sins (1John 4:10).  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).  God assures you that he wants you to be saved, we have his word on it.  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. (1Peter 3:18).

Ok, now we’ve determined that you need to be saved and cannot save yourself from the penalty of sin, which is the fires of hell when you die in your sins.  God has made a way for you to escape from the penalty of sin and sins.  Let me urge you to agree with God that you are a lost sinner unable to save yourself.  God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ [Jesus] died for us (Romans 5:8).  The AV1611 Bible says That whosoever  believeth in him [Jesus] should not perish, but have eternal life.  He that believeth on him [Jesus] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God [Jesus Christ].  (John 3:18). 

To be saved you must believe in and accept the Lord Jesus Christ’s full payment for your sins.  God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ [Jesus] died for us. (Romans 5:8)  [Jesus] Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree [cross],.. (1Peter 2:24)  …An without shedding of blood is no remission   (Hebrews 9:22).   Unto him [Jesus] that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Rev. 1:5)   If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

You should want to be reconciled to God and you can be assured of eternal life if you believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as you have just received it from God’s word.  Bow your head right now and tell the Lord Jesus you want him to write your name in the Lamb’s  Book of Life.  Thank him for saving you.  Tell someone you have believed on the Saviour, Jesus Christ.   Remember if you want to go to heaven, TRUST JESUS,  if you want to go to hell, TRUST SOMETHING ELSE, ANYTHING ELSE!

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).
