The AV1611 King James Bible which is the only exact translation into the English language, and is just as true and accurate as it was 400 years ago. Much is being done in the media as well as pulpits to discredit and annul the AV1611’s claim to be the only perfect translation of the Scriptures out of the Hebrew and Greek for the English speaking people of this planet. What better way to clear up planted doubts and chase away the naysayers than to quote the 1611 translators themselves. The following quotes in italics are from the small book that introduces the work of the AV1611 translators titled, “From the Translators to the Readers”. Only the first few paragraphs of this book appear in the front of most King James Bibles printed by modern publishers, and the reason may become apparent as you continue reading here. Remember if you see a quote that is not in the preface of your KJB it is because you do not have the entire text as provided in the original manuscripts of the AV1611.
Those who are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and look for it in every new perversion of scripture that Zondervan and other publishers print, have never read or understood what the translators of the AV1611 wrote concerning this folly:…that out of the Original Sacred Tongues, together with comparing of the labors, both of our own, and other foreign Languages, …there should be one more exact Translation of the holy Scriptures into the English Language Tongue; Brethren, since we have an exact Translation, what need or purpose could there be for others?
Judging from the next statement the translators seemed to look into the future, seeing the dilemma that faces today’s modern Christian with the more than 200 perversions of the scripture to wade through. Plus, we have modern preachers spreading a new false Greek and Hebrew gospel that only they can interpret and understand. To all of this the AV1611 translators say: So that if, on one side, we shall be traduced by Popish Persons at home and abroad, who therefore will malign us, because we are poor instruments to make God’s holy Truth to be more and more known unto the people, whom they desire keep in ignorance and darkness: or if, on the other side, we shall be maligned by self-conceited Brethren, who run their own ways, and give liking unto nothing, but what is framed by themselves, and hammered on their anvil…
