Much is heard and much is said in church circles today about the “ecumenical movement”. The ecumenical mindset has invaded every major Christian denomination. The “ecumenical movement” described in one word is compromise. Professing Christians who subscribe to the ecumenical movement are always moving away from the AV1611 King James Bible toward the new perversions of the scriptures. As a result of moving away from the AV1611: being blinded to the truths of Gods word; they move easily toward doctrines of devils and the traditions of men warned about in the Holy Scriptures.
Examples of devilish doctrines: Harlot Protestants have no reservations about sprinkling babies, much like their whoring mother, the Church of Rome, (Revelation Chapter 17). Many Protestants even consider communion to be essential for salvation as do the Roman Catholics. Most Protestants believe they can lose their salvation like the Roman Catholics who never had it in the first place! All Protestant and major Baptist denominations embrace all translations except the AV1611 KJV.
While ecumenical-ism may be ecclesiastically correct it does nothing to further the gospel of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Going along to get along with still-born and false brethren was never the intention of Jesus Christ for any Bible-believing Christian or church. (Titus 3:10).
Ecumenical-ism is the fearful’s cloak of compromise. Accepting non-Biblical traditions and doctrines of devils in place of good Biblical doctrine is sympathy for the devil. Those in the ecumenical movement embrace one another’s false doctrines, and thus become the spiritually blind leading the spiritually blind into the ditch of spiritual darkness.
