SOME BELIEVED…AND SOME BELIEVED NOT
But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against. And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. Acts 28: 22-24
And so, it continues to this day, some believe and some believe not. Gentiles in great numbers have carried on the Jewish tradition of rejecting the Bible (AV1611 of course) account about Jesus Christ the Saviour and Son of God.
This passage is a great example of how people claim to be looking for and want to hear truth, but chose to reject truth when they hear it. Look with me at vs. 25 in this same chapter.
And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, AFTER THAT PAUL HAD SPOKEN ONE WORD,… Acts 28:25
These Jews just could not handle the Truth of God’s word and the Gentile of modern times has the same issues with the Way, the Truth, and the Life and the Biblical (AV 1611 of course) account of Jesus Christ. Many in “modern Christian churches” teach “another Jesus” warned about in Galatians 1: 6-12, that FALSELY allows others into Heaven as long as they are sincere. Still yet some modern churches preach “another Jesus” which gives them a “spirit” that causes hysterical laughter in services, mindless babble disguised as talking in tongues, fake healings, christian rock, christian rap, christian hip-hop, fake healers, false apostles, apostlets (female religious dolts), and the list can go on and on.
When you try to reprove, rebuke, and exhort the modern Gentile heretic they go Jewish on you. Oft times you barely get one sentence out of your mouth and they bolt to the door of unbelief. This is especially true if you refer to the AV1611 Holy Bible as your Final Authority from God in all matters of faith and practice. Selah.
The AV1611 is a little too much light for most professing Christians. Selah.
I’ve thought the same things myself about why they do not believe the AV1611 is the words of God. Maybe they are not God’s children. Remember Jesus said my sheep hear my voice. Now if (and I know it is) the AV1611 is God’s word and they can’t hear or understand it, they may have a problem. Just sayin.
Most of them can’t understand the King James av 1611 as 1 corinthians 2:14 and 15 tells us so they go out and get perversions of God’s word and it leads them farther and farther and farther and farther from the truth..
2corinthians14..But the natural man recieveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned15..But he that is spiritual judgeth all things yet he himself is judged of no man
John3:18..He that believeth on him is not condemned:but he that believeth not is condemned alread,because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19..And this is the condemnation that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil
