The Lord Led Me???
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom. 8:14
Every born again child of the living God is included in verse 14 of 8th chapter of The Book of Romans; although not in the way a silly Charismatic or Pentecostal would like you to believe. This verse is a doctrinal statement.
It is a reference to the Christian being led to Heaven by the Spirit of God. See verses 28 and 29 of this same chapter for clarification.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Rom. 8:28,29
The Charismatics and Pentecostals would like you to think vs.14 is a pass card for their silly idea of the Holy Spirit leading them in a particular uncomfortable situation they got themselves into. “The Lord led me.” is a non-Scriptural excuse for many of the damnable heresies coming out of 21st Century churches.
“The Lord led me.” is the opening statement for anti-Scriptural speeches disguised as gospel preaching. Silly unGodly church activities (laughing spirit antics and etc.) are often touched off by the, “The Lord led me”, excuse.
Right out the door. Now that is what I call being led by the Spirit.
Well said, continue on my dear fellow.
Good insight my friend
2 corinthians11:14..And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into a angel of light
They always have some special revalation to the say the Holy Spirit gave them to with there unsciptual tounge babble…all the revalation Christians need was revealed in scripture from God through Jesus by the Holy Spirit if they was being led by the Spirit they would understand Corinthians chapter 14 they do exactly what the Apostle Paul is saying not to do
If they really wanted led they would get in the av 1611 king James and let the Spirit of God lead the thru the scripture instead of this spirit they think is the Holy Spirit…I’ve been to a couple of these churches and trust me the Holy Spirit isn’t leading them anywhere..but I can tell the true Holy Spirit led me right out the front door
