SPEAKING OF THE DEVIL
Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. Job 41: 19-21
The Scriptures in chapter 41 of the Book of Job give a detailed word picture of the Devil (Satan). Cigarette, cigar, and pot smokers seem to be a reflection of what that old serpent the Devil looks like.
The smoke of choice looks a lot like a small lamp and burns, like Satan’s in vs. 19. Smoke rolls out of the Serpents nostrils, much like those who smoke tobacco products and marijuana , vs.20. The smoker causes his breath by sucking to kindle the tobacco of choice or dope to burn as in vs.21 Smoking sure makes one look like the Devil, doesn’t it? Who’s your daddy? Are you trying to look like him by smoking? Hmmmm.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do…John 8:44
