Greek and Hebrew – The QUIZ

Please allow me to prove a point.

Those familiar with this website and my ministry know how annoyed I am with the modern apostate preachers that do not believe the Scriptures and attempt to correct the AV1611 King James Bible with their false pretentious knowledge of  ancient Greek and Hebrew languages.  Being so convinced that these puffed up wolves in sheep’s clothing do not know Greek or Hebrew; I have put together this challenge; because their mouths must be stopped for the sake of the truth (AV1611 King James Bible).

You can take this challenge to any liar posing as a minister of the gospel with the following question.  Ask the liberal preacher, Baptist or otherwise, where, when,  and with whom he studied to learn the ancient mysteries of Greek and/or Hebrew. He will probably draw a blank because he hasn’t studied Greek and Hebrew, but gets his information from lexicons and concordances fabricated by unbelievers.

Present the following challenge.  You will need two of these modern Greek or Hebrew scholars, paper, and a pencil, and of course a 1611AV Bible for this challenge to be carried out.   Scholarly preacher number one will be given portions of Scripture from the AV1611 to translate into the “original” languages while in a room by himself.  Next scholar number two will go into the room by himself with what the scholar number one just translated from English into Hebrew or Greek and translate that new transcript back into English.  Now this fresh English translation should match exactly with the AV1611 King James Bible that it came from since it just came from the AV1611 within the self-same hour.  Right?   My guess is NO!  And my guess is right!  These popish men pretending to be scholars of the ancient languages will be shown for what they are.  LIARS, all of them, Baptist and otherwise!  I presented this challenge to some Charismatics in my home town who enjoy false notirity for their knowledge of the Greek, and I have not heard a word or peep out of  them.

This challenge is not presented to be mean; but rather to prove an important point; those claiming that the King James Bible needs corrected are not capable of correcting it, and it does not need corrected, only believed.  Furthermore if preachers do not believe the Bible, these preachers should be quiet, and stop preaching out of it, and making a living with it.

Dave: Keep it up, everyone is seeing BIBLE IGNORANCE in action. Bro. Ray

  3. Dave says:

    Jesus spoke in the amplified.

  4. Dave says:

    G1142
    δαίμων
    daimōn
    dah’ee-mown
From δαίω daiō (to distribute fortunes); a demon or super natural spirit (of a bad nature): – devil.

Just because it does not state demon , does not mean they do not exist.
Like I said you have a puff head demon ( devil ).

  5. admin says:

dave: Bible, Bible where your comment backed up by the Bible. Bible, Bible, Bible. Bro. Ray

P.S. The word demon is not biblical, its devil.

  6. dave says:

    Someone has a puffhead demon.

  7. Jeremy says:

    Yes, they can.

  8. admin says:

Jeremy: Can these Greek and Hebrew experts say the alphabet in either language? Bro. Ray

  9. admin says:

lawburr: The scripture (AV1611 of course) teaches he that is of God heareth God’s words (AV1611 of course). Bro. Ray

  10. lawburr says:

Your test is absurd. Your stand on the KJV is absurd. I believe there is a special place in Hell for people who keep people from God by forcing the to use a Bible they can’t understand. You are an idolator of the KJV, not a lover of God.

  11. Jeremy says:

I wasn’t the one who found the flaw, Jezz1966 did. Both your quiz and your test have been demonstrated to accomplish nothing in terms of potentially discrediting any pastor or scholar, and instead only exemplify your own lack of understanding concerning the study of biblical languages.

  12. Jezz1966 says:

    Dear Bro Ray
Yup, I’m a bit confused – that is the first statement of my post that you are echoing. I’m not confused by the Bible, not by the Word. These may sometimes be mysterious, but they are never confusing. I am confused by your inability to respond in a meaningful sense to the queries raised by your readers, that’s all. Your Koranic view of the Bible reflects what seem to be deep seated insecurities on your part, expressed in a need to control God and his Word rather than to trust and explore. Just a thought.
    All the best
    Jezz

Jeremy: You found a flaw in my blog? TELL ME TELL ME it isn’t so. Other have said this blog is infallible. Now what am I to do, Jeremy, you of all people have found a flaw, misspelled words yes, but flaws.!? Bro. Ray

  14. Jeremy says:

You have a strange way of saying, “Thank you for pointing out one of the fundamental flaws in my post. I will take your loving concern seriously and revise my argumentation.” I assume that’s what you meant, because that is the natural Christian response when someone presents a common-sense explanation about why our point of view is too flawed to be accurate.

  15. admin says:

    neoifb: to what?

  16. admin says:

Jezz1966: Your are more than a bit confused. Bro. Ray

  17. Jezz1966 says:

    Hi Bro Ray.
I’m a bit confused over what your test is meant to achieve. If I translate a French text into English and then back into French – whether I use an online translation service or do it myself – I will end up with something different from the text I started with. This would happen even if I were a graduate level language student, which I’m not. The reason for this is due to the way language works – even if a word in one language has a literal translation in another that does not imply that the understanding taken from those two words is the same. Thus “dog” in English and its Korean equivalent means the same four legged mammal. However in English it links to an idea of companionship and trust, whereas a Korean may associate it with his lunch (my apologies to any Koreans reading this for any gross simplification of your culture). Many words in ancient Hebrew and koine Greek have no direct translation, whilst many others are contextually and culturally sensitive. Biblical scholars, whether they are examining a text for an essay or are part of a kingly appointed committee seeking to produce an entire Bible, produce something that is far more than a literal translation. Your test serves only to reveal your Koranic view of scripture. That makes me worried indeed!

    No answer?

  19. admin says:

You mean Alexandrian Cult don’t you.

  20. admin says:

Wythy: Which addition of what? And I noticed that you caught my spelling over site, yet if a modern translator leaves out an important word such as BLOOD you don’t notice and don’t seem to care. Bro. Ray

  21. admin says:

Wythy: Which addition of what? And I noticed that you caught my spelling over site, yet if a modern translator leaves out an important word such as BLOOD you don’t notice and don’t seem to care. Bro. Ray

  22. admin says:

Fundy Fred: You meant to say Alexandrian Cult, right? Bro. Ray

  23. Fundy Fred says:

BTW it should say Alexandrian texts. Diarrhea of the mouth.

  24. NEOIFB says:

Just so I can understand clearly, (because I am a little lost on the issue trying to keep up with you all) Ray are you saying that if the Bible needed to be translated into another language of those who have not the scripture in their native tongue; that it would translated from the English speakers AV 1611 or the Masoretic text of the old testament and the majority text of the new?

    Thanks

  25. Wythy says:

The question is which edition? The first by Erasmus lacking the complete copy of Revelation or later editions? As my question points out, we have more than one edition of the Textus (not TEXus) Receptus. Which edition are you wanting to use for the challenge and why?

  26. admin says:

Wythy: Lets use the Texus Receptus. Bro. Ray

  27. admin says:

Fundy Fred: You said it, what do you think? Bro. Ray Put your heresy on the table face up.

  28. Fundy Fred says:

Pulling your chain Bro Ray. Playing the good ole’ Devil’s Advocate. We all know that the only way to Jesus is through the AV 1611. The NIV is sin right? We just ignore the fact that the inspired english version didn’t exist before 1611 and any other modern language is going to hell! Amen brother?

  29. Wythy says:

Are you using the Erasmus 1516 TR, the Stephanus 1550 TR, or the Beza 1598 TR for this challenge?

  30. admin says:

Jeremy: I’m going to send you to Principal Dwane Karr for some spiritual chastisement. Look he’s waiting for you and Charles. Bro. Ray

  31. Jeremy says:

    Thankfully, you’re not my teacher.

  32. admin says:

Jeremy: That’s a ZERO for you, INCOMPLETE Bro. Ray

  33. Jeremy says:

I think your intentions aren’t clear enough for me to know why you put quotations around original, nor what you hope to accomplish. I also think that this is why I asked in the first place.

  34. Jeremy says:

I can’t take the quiz – I’m not two separate people. Nor do I know anyone who claims to have a knowledge of the biblical languages that didn’t study it at a regionally accredited institutions of higher learning. So, I’m not qualified to take the quiz. Sorry to disappoint.

  35. admin says:

Jeremy: What do you think? Bro. Ray

  36. admin says:

Jeremy: What do you think? Bro. Ray

  37. admin says:

Jerremy: Get in here and take the QUIZ with Charles. And be quiet you’re disturbing all the Biblically Bankrupt students. Bro. Ray

  38. admin says:

Charles: Be quiet and study to show yourself approved, TAKE THE QUIZ, you’re failing class son. Bro. Ray

  39. So what did Jesus use Ray?

  40. Fundy Fred says:

Liberals? If you believe in Augustinian texts you are a liberal? How is one saved?

  41. Jeremy says:

Two other questions to add onto Fred’s – why do you have “original” in quotation marks? And secondly, what do you hope for this “quiz” to demonstrate?

  42. admin says:

Fundy Fred: NO and He did not use the originals that liberals point to. Bro. Ray

  43. Fundy Fred says:

Question: Did Jesus use the KJV 1611? Careful, it could be a trick question.
