YE ARE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE
Romans 1:1 “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,…
“Paul, a SERVANT of Jesus Christ” flies in the face of what’s being preached in America and around the world today by celebrity preachers. Can you imagine the apostle Paul as a guest speaker at Joel Olsteen’s church? Paul’s “a SERVANT of Jesus Christ” would scream in stark contrast to Joel’s “your best life now”!
Paul’s consideration of himself as a servant in this verse was not an oversight on his part or on the part of the Holy Ghost who moved him to speak and write that verse; and the AV1611 translators understood it and translated it perfectly. Look at what he says in Corinthians concerning the matter of being Christ’s servant.
1Cor. 9:19 I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 2Cor. 4:5 …and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
Remember, if you are going to serve the Lord you cannot please men even though you serve men with the gospel. If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Gal. 1:10)
All of what I and the scripture says flies in the face of the prosperity gospel that has crept into pulpits around the world today. So let us look at what the Bible (AV1611 of course) says about your situation.
“Ye are BOUGHT with a PRICE. 1Cor. 6:20
God is not your employer and you are not his employee. He bought you with a great price, his BLOOD. You are not your own and need to act and live like it. Your life is not your own.
You don’t go to the church of your choice, you go to the church of his choosing. Your don’t read the “bible” of your choice, you read the Bible of His choice (AV1611 of course). Your are to live, work,, feel, act, dress and etc. like God wants you to. Your instructions are in THE BOOK he gave you (AV1611 of course).

May God bless, keep, and enlighten you as well as guide me in teaching this Bible Study in God’s book to the Gentiles, ROMANS. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray.
