You know Heretics are so abundant today that it is refreshing when you find a brother or sister that rightly divides the Book and are secure in their salvation. They make it out like anyone who believes in OSAS (once saved always saved) just sins at will and thinks nothing of if. I get tired of it. I hate sin and I hate it when I do sin. Sadly I am not perfect and I won’t be till I step out of this stinking flesh. I certainly don’t take it lightly when a Christian backslides …and gets out of the will of God. It is a shame and they can lose Everything but their Salvation! But it DOES HAPPEN AND THEY ARE STILL SAVED IF THEY WERE EVER SAVED TO BEGIN WITH! These Heretics will tell you if a man falls away he was never saved to start with OR he LOST his salvation. Now I will give you a case where Christians are commanded to Quit having fellowship with other Christians because they are not doing right and they are STILL CHRISTIANS. 2 Thes.3:6-15 deals with these matters. Look at 3:6 “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from EVERY BROTHER that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.” You can’t deny it, a BROTHER in the Pauline Epistles is a SAVED CHRISTIAN! Now look at 3:14 “And if any man OBEY NOT OUR WORD by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.” He is not obeying God’s words. Now look at 3:15 “Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a BROTHER.” I hate it that Christians get messed up, But it Happens. God says don’t hang around with them while they are doing wrong but don’t treat them as an enemy. Pray for them and call them once in a while or drop in for a Quick visit, not to fellowship but to Admonish them and urge them to get right again. Most “Professing Christians” Hate Eternal Security today. It is the work of the Devil in these last, dark days. These people want to “Subvert” your faith in God’s Words concerning your Eternal Security, (Acts 15:24, 2 Tim.2:14, Titus 1:11, Titus 3:11). Stick to The Book and Believe what God said!
