Southern Open Air Preachers Association
SOAPA, is an association of street preachers that needs cleaned up. This association is a mix of men from around the country that come together regularly to mix their doctrine into an ecumenical soup that makes a true AV1611 Bible Believer sick to his stomach.
Anything can happen in these meetings. You might get to hear Jed Smock and his daughter do their rendition of the rock ballad “House of the Rising Son” or get to hear some Kingdom of Heaven heretic tell you that Jesus was wrong when he said that nothing could remove us out of his hand and none of those that the Father gave him would be lost. Pastor Larry McCune visited the 2010 meeting of SOAPA and heard a message against OSAS which seems to be a focal point of the SOAPA meetings. Even the Canadian Oneness Pentecostal, Phillip Ness Thomas was featured as a key speaker at a SOAPA meeting not long ago. Not one self-proclaimed Bible scholar or Christian or street preacher in attendance protested the false doctrines of Ness_Thomas. Egos and fantasy come together at SOAPA to make one of the strangest non-Biblical escapades that is guaranteed to keep everyone in attendance dazed and confused concerning the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Compromise and confusion are foremost requirements for attending one of these association meetings. To participate one must not stand up for his Biblical principles and accept the non-Biblical principles of everyone else in attendance just to get along.
As a result of waffling on the truths of God’s word they are led by those who think themselves to be somewhat into the streets to preach a false Kingdom of Heaven gospel, when they should be preaching the Kingdom of God gospel that was given to Paul by Jesus Christ himself and written in the epistles of Paul.
SOAPA is all washed up when it comes to sound Biblical doctrine.
