Living Bible Scores A Knockout in Round 2!
Have you noticed so-called Living Bible disqualifies itself in the Old Testament? Look at Hosea 1:1 and 1:2 to see what I mean. The LB has a bloody nose and suffers a technical knock out in rounds (verses) one and two of chapter one. By removing, “THE WORD OF THE LORD” in round (verse) one, and then removing, “THE BEGINNING OF THE WORD OF THE LORD” in round (verse) 2 the LB (lol) disqualifies all that follows as the words of the Living God.
Since the LB has suffered a knockout, you may wonder why it has gained so much popularity and remains popular. First of all it is an ecumenical Roman Catholic bible, second it does not remain loyal to the reformation, third no one is convicted by reading it, and fourth it is popular with the un-saved crowd.
