SPENCER, WV – REVIVAL!

Friday night’s gathering at the Black Walnut Festival in Spencer, WV welcomed Dwane Karr, Ed Hensler and myself as we presented the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Much liberty was given us by city officials and residents to display our gospel banners and give out gospel tracts throughout the festival area.

Many Christian adults and teens alike were bold in expressing their sidewalk amen as we went about the Lord’s work.  Satan’s crowd was also  present but displayed little enthusiasm in their naysaying.  Overall we sensed that Jesus Christ, his words, and his preachers were still welcome in this small West Virginia town!

One of our banners shouted “JESUS OR HELL-John 3:18” and “PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD”  to thousands in attendance while another banner declared “IN THE BEGINNING – GOD!”  and left no doubt in anyone’s mind  the AV1611 is GOD’S HOLY WORDS.  Our third banner urged everyone to STUDY and OBEY the BIBLE and declared JESUS CHRIST to be the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE!  Those in attendance accepted three to four hundred gospel tracts.  We spoke to sinners and urged them to look to the Saviour.  We were encouraged and blessed by the believers at Spencer’s 2013 Black Walnut Festival.

All of the work listed above was done for just under $30 gas money and less than $15 was spent on food and refreshments.  You do not have to be an accountant to see that street evangelism gets more preaching to the gallon or sandwich than any other method.  Its Biblical too (AV1611 of course)!  See the Acts of the Apostles for details.
