Reader’s Response to the King James Bible Translators

I recently received an email from a reader in response to my post titled “From the Translators to the Readers” which can be found in the ezekiel3.com archives.  The reader had questions and comments and was sincerely looking for answers.  Following are excerpts from the reader’s email so all may benefit.

Q. What copy of God’s word was the church to use before the AV1611 King James Bible?

A. Assuming the reader was referring to the people of England prior to 1611, there were several Bibles of which copies are still in existence to this very day. They include the Gothic Bible dating back to pre A.D. 350, the Anglo- Saxon Bible pre A.D. 700, the Wycliffe Bible 1389, the Tyndale Bible 1526-1534, the Geneva Bible 1560-1599, and the Bishop’s Bible 1568.

Q. The responding reader stated that to the best of his knowledge the 1611 translators were not able to find Greek manuscripts that completely agreed with one another, and left that statement waiting for a response.

A. The AV1611 translators did encounter some manuscripts that did not agree with the Textus Receptus (the received text of the AV1611 and all the translators of the above translations). Those that did not agree with the Textus Receptus were thrown out as inferior because they agreed with the false doctrines of the Roman Catholic church and the Catholic bible. The King James Bible AV1611 was the last perfect translation in English to come from the Textus Receptus. All translations since the AV1611 are inferior to the King James Bible because they are translated from the corrupt Wescott and Hort text thrust onto the scene by who else, the Pope and his gang of bachelors that are intent on destroying Biblical Christianity.

Q. The reader also wanted to know if it was alright for JESUS to quote from the Septuagint rather than the Hebrew writings.

A. NO, it was not alright for JESUS to quote from the Septuagint, because He DIDN’T!!

The Septuagint was not forged until 200 years after the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Please allow me to explain and comment.

The idea of a B.C. Septuagint is a farce and that is putting it lightly, because there WASN’T ONE! The Septuagint was penned by a heretic named Origen and some of his cohorts down in Alexandria, Egypt. Origen tampered with the scripture by changing the Old Testament Hebrew to make it match the New Testament Greek quotations of Christ. This sleight of hand by this “original Catholic”, Origen, makes it appear that Christ was quoting the LXX. Enemies of Christ continue the big lie today, saying this text is more exact and older than the Textus Receptus. Phooy! It is pretty easy to change the Hebrew to match the Greek when you’re sitting in Alexandria, Egypt with the Greek New Testament on your desk in front of you. Now you know how they sold tens of thousands of Baptists, Liberals, Pentecostals and Charismatics on the so-called “more accurate manuscripts” behind the diabolical NIV, NASB, ASV, the Living Bible, the Message, and other books of enchantment passed off as God’s word.
