Wrong Jesus, Spirit, & Gospel

One only has to turn on “christian television” to hear someone  preaching  “another Jesus” that does not remotely resemble the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible.  Walk into almost any Pentecostal or Charismatic church and you will observe the manifestations of “another spirit” not found in the scriptures.  Many “cults” claiming to be Full Gospel, preach  “another gospel” that damns souls.  Still others teach the false doctrine of materialism as part of the atonement.  Don’t believe these Charis-MANIAC prosperity claims are doctrines of devils?   Please, allow me to show you scriptures that back my assertions.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is Christ.  For if he that cometh preacheth  ANOTHER JESUS,  or if ye receive ANOTHER SPIRIT, which ye have not received, or ANOTHER GOSPEL, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.  2Cor. 11:3

TBN, INSP, God TV and other “christian” media support a Laodicean error known as the prosperity gospel which begs rebuke!  Local assemblies have been duped by the teachings of Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Meyer, Marilyn Hickey, and a host of other greedy wolves and heretics.  The prosperity gospel teaches that  spirituality can be measured by one’s wealth.  Prosperity preachers teach that we should plant a seed in their ministry in order to receive a harvest of 10, 20, or 100 fold.  It’s a giving to get gospel and those preaching this nonsense are the ones who do the getting.  To all this nonsense I say, “phooy”, and ask again “what saith the scriptures.  Let us take a look, shall we?

1 Timothy Chapter 6

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,…vs.3  He is proud, knowing nothing,… vs.4  Perverse disputings of of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of truth, SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF. vs.5  BUT GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN. vs.6   For we brought nothing into this world, and it IS CERTAIN we can carry nothing out. vs.7  And  having food and rainment let us be therewith content. vs.8  BUT THEY THAT WILL BE RICH FALL INTO TEMPTATION AND A SNARE, and into many FOOLISH AND HURTFUL LUSTS,  which drown men in destruction and peridition. vs.9  For THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL: which WHILE SOME COVETED after, they have ERRED FROM THE FAITH, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. vs.10  But thou, O man of God, FLEE THESE THINGS,  and FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, godliness, faith, love, patience , meekness. vs.11

I GIVE THEE CHARGE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, THAT THOU KEEP THIS COMMANDMENT  WITHOUT SPOT, UNREBUKABLE UNTIL THE APPEARING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: vs.13

The above scriptures are a good enough case for everyone to ask for a refund on the prosperity gospel. 2Cor. 11:3 addresses the “strange spirit phenomenon” found  in modern charismatic churches.  Look at how the scriptures expound on the another spirit.

Now the Spirit SPEAKETH EXPRESSLY, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to SEDUCING SPIRITS and DOCTRINES OF DEVILS; 1Tim. 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Any excuse for the strange manifestations in so-called FULL GOSPEL churches comes up lame in light of the above scripture. How do you figure it is ok to practice the witchcraft of “drunk in the spirit”, or “laying on the floor in what looks like a fit”?

Chapter and verse please.  How can everyone speak and scream in “unknown tongues” during church services when the Bible forbids it?  Chapter and verse please.  How can demoniac women let out “blood curdling screams” all through the preaching and this be counted spiritual? You know by now, chapter and verse please.  How can you blame God the Holy Ghost for your “uncontrolled jumping” up and down as though you are on an invisible pogo stick?  You know the drill.  Chapter and verse please.  Check out YouTube and search crazy Pentecostals for a host of manifestations that do not line up with the words of God (AV1611).  Are you sure the transfer of the “laughing spirit” is Biblical?  Tired yet?
