Bro Ray you are so right, not to mention downright hilarious. Have you thought of becoming a standup comedian? I was laughing so hard at your sailor joke I almost busted a gut.
I avoid water as much as possible. I’ve never much cared for the stuff after seeing that movie JAWS. Then just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water, JAWS 2 came out. You’re right, the best thing is to avoid immersion and sprinkling, heck, avoid baptism altogether. Sharks can be anywhere after all.
Noah and his family did not get immersed in water, they did not even get sprinkled with rain! Noah was dry all the way through the flood. As a matter of fact if my memory does not fail me he did not even get his feed muddy after the flood. And matter of fact is the “eight sailors where saved by the Ark God told them to build and it landed on dry land. NO immersion, NO sprinkling, No mud and no more of this muddy water nonsense, OK? Moral of the story stay out of the water for salvation. Ok?
I’d rather be a sailor than a ground pounder. Don’t you know that eight sailors were saved by water? Just as we are save by baptism, by immersion, now? 1 Peter 3:20-21
